  The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage. As we arrived at 8pm, the owner(mother) had prepared a plate of ham and cheese and olives that was delightful, knowing we hadn't eaten dinner yet! Place was clean, spacious, and quiet! We only stayed one night but it would be an ideal place for a longer stay, very centrally located, friendly staff and beautiful rooms (especially charming are the huge windows that open on to a very quiet street).

  Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Breakfast was probably the best we had been offered on our Europe trip, fresh and plentiful every morning regardl - Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful. Pool very relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.Will be returning again to Hotel Meteor. Makarska is a wonderful place and Hotel Meteor made it more enjoyable

  The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Its location is right by the beach area But you also have a lovely pool area at the hotel itself. - Good sized rooms. Great views of the sea. Very comfortable and furnished in a modern beach style. Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda. Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us.   The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are there for you in whatever way you need them. The hotel itself is located literally 10 seconds away from the beach.   The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and welcoming. The location is great with excellent views and a very short walk to the main port-side part of town. - Very nice and helpful owner, friendly staff, very clean place, felt like being taken care of.
