Rooms were standard motel type but clean/comforatble etc . Breakfasts were enormous 3 pancakes the size of dinner plates or french toast at least 2 inches thick .Worth stopping just for that! -

CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. I enjoyed the fact that it was so centrally located to the Whistler Village. Everything was within walking distance and the bus stop was just over the road. The pool and spa were just lovely.
Above all the staff were fantastic. They were always helpful, kind and friendly. My husband regularly called from Australia and he commented how friendly the staff were on the phone.

Kamloops was MUCH nicer than we'd thought - for us it was just a stopover on way to Rockies, but actually it is a very pleasant little town with a lovely riverside. The couple running the Inn were really friendly and helpful. And our room had a bathtub as well as a shower, which you don't always get - much appreciated. Breakfast good; v relaxed and jolly atmosphere.

Saw some reviews that weren't great, but we found everything to be wonderful. The restaurant has new chefs, and the food was terrific. It is a restful and quiet place at this time of the year - late November, and enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.
