  Wow! The staff were down to earth, friendly and accommodating. They made every effort to make us comfortable and were fantastically flexible when our plans changed last minute. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Did not want to leave

  The room was cute, had a small kitchen, and the building was very old and interesting. The location was nice and safe. We parked our car in the driveway of the hotel off street for free. The hotel is near some pretty parks and is only about a 25 minute bicycle ride into the main part of the city.   The personal sauna and the spa tub in our loft suite was very relaxing after a long day of hiking, and was roomy enough for two people. It has a full kitchen with quality pots and dishes, not the usual hotel crud.
