The personal sauna and the spa tub in our loft suite was very relaxing after a long day of hiking, and was roomy enough for two people. The kitchen was well equipped, and the layout of the suite was great! It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. The location of the hotel was very convenient - 5 minute walk to the gondolas and 2 minutes to the shops in the village. Will definitely stay here again!.
all reviews » I enjoyed the fact that it was so centrally located to the Whistler Village. Everything was within walking distance and the bus stop was just over the road. The pool and spa were just lovely. Above all the staff were fantastic. They were always helpful, kind and friendly. My husband regularly called from Australia and he commented how friendly the staff were on the phone. The staff was very friendly. Our suite accommodating us 4 adults, was behond our expectation..we had a sauna in our bedroom..fully equipped kitchen, nice livingroom with fireplace and everything was very clean. The location is perfect The cost was very reasonable. Location was great! Hot tub outside also great! Lots of cupboards and drawers, so even though 2 people have to sleep in the lounge, it's still very comfortable for 4 people - because you don't have people living out of suitcases standing all over. Comfortable and good size studio with plenty of room for two people...a great place to stay so close to everything in Whistler Village and easy to walk everywhere else locally. Underground car park too with easy access lifts. -Convenient Location for skiing while family can wander the village. -Huge jetted tub -kitchenette -plenty of storage spots -2entrances (used one side for stroller parking) -2bathrooms (used half bathroom for baby room). Having stayed there a 4 times, we like the location. The top floor lofts have two bathroom,lots of room for two.The room overlooked the pool. We could see the mountain bikes coming down the mountain from our room. I loved the full kitchen. I loved the loft set-up. It is the first time we have been to Whistler and we really enjoyed it. For a summer adventure - it was a fabulous value for our money. Really good location right in whistler village, reception staff were really helpful and friendly, good outdoor pool and hottub. Good kitchen facilities in our room. Great staff As I was with my elderly mom, I asked if we could be upgraded to a one bedroom, from a queen suite and they charged us a great rate for the upgrade. This was a wow for us... room was fantastic.. very spacious loft suite, warm cosy with a fully equipped kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Well worth the money. We stayed there back in 1998 and it lived up to our memory of it. The fact that we could cook meals and it was close to all facilities, Whistler offers. Liked the Loft style of room and the fact that there were two bathrooms. Excellent location to village. Liked outdoor hot tub and open stairwell access. The room was very spacious with a fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher). Loved the pool and the very reasonable laundry was a huge bonus. Complete kitchenette with utensils etc, spa bath in the room. Swimming pool and sauna and spa pool available for guests. Good access to town. the little apartment was great, you had every thing to cook and eat in the kitchen, roomy, 2 bathrooms with nice soap, clean swimming pool,. Friendly staff. A couple lamps in our loft did not work, dishes were a bit dirty from previous occupants, and we couldn't change the channel on the upstairs TV (using either the remote or the buttons directly on the TV). The internet connection kept dropping out, I simply could not get onto google chrome at verious stages. I was in room 429. Initially the staff tried very hard to reconnect. Later AT&T were always very helpful and walked me through the process and reconnected me. It was frustrating to call them all the time, especially in view of the fact that it I went outside to Starrbucks I had no problem getting on so the problem was not with my computer. Just be aware that you must pay $18.00 for parking. Day before I went there to ask for an earlier check-in. Not enough effort went into this, as room was only ready at 3.30. -hard tile steps. (a bit scary for 11month old and rambunctious 4yo)(scary for the parents that is). The fridge made a lot of noise.The house keeping needed to dust the tv area and behind bathroom doors. You could definitely hear the crowds talking outside. We stayed in the loft suite and it was a bit small for 4 people, very little privacy and the beds weren't very comfortable. My mom uses a walker and discovered that whistler, is not a place for people with disabilities. Handicap parking spots, but no ramps only stairs.....stairs everywhere... I hope this will improve over time. The hotel could definitely benefit from putting in another hot tub on the deck area. The current one is small and was always full. Everything else was great. The check in process was tedious, I was asked to read, initial and sign terms and conditions. I was also asked for photo ID, the only request I have received through out my six week stay in Canada. I did not feel welcomed. Thought it was morally wrong to charge for car parking!. Not having explained when we checked in that we had "Murphy bed" which came out of the wall; we had to get reception to come and show us how to operate it. Parking; no where to park unless one paid the additional $18 parking fee which made the daily rate effectively $18 more. Not aware when we booked there was no real alternative. do stay on the side of the swimming pool as the other side as a bar in front of it, very noisy at night till 3 o'clock in the morning. People coming out of the bar, screaming in the street, we were there on the Friday night, could be that only party going on during the week end... Slow elevator. Parking fees. Street noise at night. Sofa bed could be better. nothing special. Cable problems for half our stay. The front closter door was not working well. the cushion on soft bed were not placed to the right position. Pool area was not very nice. Did not like the restaurant being able to watch everyone in the pool & random people just walking by. Not enough parking for 2 cars! This is the 3 rd time this has happened to us where we had to go find parking elsewhere! Won't stay here again!. Parking fee hot tub shower low water pressure.
