Looks like completly newly renovated upon our visit in 2013, clean, staff speaks perfect engish and is very helpfull also on non-hotel quesions. Rooms are clean, carpeted, and sapcious enough. Close to Matzleinsdorfer Platz station (500 m) with tram and train conections. I recomend buying a dayly ticket to all trasport sistems (metro, tram and train) 6 € available at the hotel. Breakfast was very rich and tastfull. I recomend the hotel to travelers, who don't mind out of center location and do.
all reviews » Really good hotel: friendly staff, clean rooms, no smells, comfortable prices. We stayed there more than one week and nobody bothered us when we were in the room, but when we returned back in the evening the room always looked like a new one. In the room we had tea pot with variety of teas and cofee. During checking out we received small gifts - a couple of bottles with apricot jam. Comfortable bed with two kinds of pillows. A very nice, modern hotel with extremely kind staff. The food is nice in the restaurant, they also have a small fitness room which has the basic equipment enough for a workout. The wifi access was free and the signal strength was good in the room. The room was small but very clean and nice, the bed was comfortable. Will definitely come back again!. All of the staff we dealt with were pleasant, helpful and cheerful even in the early hours when we returned from the concert we attended. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of foods to choose from. A particularly nice touch was the "coffee to go" idea. Overall excellent!. You should either go to Keplerplatz with U2 and take the bus 14A (3 stops, 5 minutes), or take the same from the Neubaugasse in the opposite direction (10 stops, 12 minutes). Could not fault either the hotel or the staff. unusual to have to pay for internet so we used the free Apples in the lobby, that were rather slow. If you turn left out of the hotel it is rather 'third world' and there is not much the other way in terms of restaurants. However, we did find a great, top quality restaurant 'Steiner Stube' a brisk 10 mins walk away but it is the only quality choice. Distance from lift to hotel room Extra charge for room service (3 euro soup + 10 euro service charge). Stayed on the fourth floor this time, elevator was slow sometimes. Nothing. Location is not perfect but can't complain for the price. Almost nothing. The hotel is 15 min walk to U-bahn... wifi was not free in the hotel room air conditioning in the hotel room was difficult to adjust, during the night we had to open the window to have fresh air to breathe, because it was too hot... Crowed at breakfast - could be more seats and tables. the location does not inspire safety but nothing bad happened. It takes about 15 min to get to the center by tram and metro. The stop is 3 min from the hotel but the transport system is not easy )). mattress could have been better. We had to pay for the wi-fi, and the location was far from the center, but is ok if you go by car. Location, past its glory, commute-though short- to city center, no great restaurants in area. There was smoking allowed in the bar which quickly made it's way into the restaurant and made each meal quite an awful experience. hotel blocks 50 EUR as deposit in case of damages - it is not said on letsbookhotel.com. The hallway to my room was really long. They should provide a secondary access point to the far end of the hotel. Unfortunately I got my room so far from lift and need to pass through so long corridor. There wasn't free Wi-Fi at the Lobby. Wi-Fi in rooms (for money) has poor signal. Also a pressure of water in bathrooms was too law. Food in the restaurant. Price/quality was poor. nothing. Room staff waking you up to clean the room before you get out of bed. Maintenance happening early in the morning making it hard to sleep. Expensive WiFi and breakfast, location near the cemetry. Absence of good restaurant in the district. Nothing. Nothing to campaign about. Limited access to food after 10pm. I would appreciate breakfast in the room rate. no free wifi. Was kind of far from the city center, but the staff was so kind to help me find my way. Also far from restaurants. Fare from main train station. It become a bus tours hotel. We reserved an executive room and got only free breakfast the business lounge was empty of any snack or drink, the room was same and not in the business flour. No free wifi. Cemetery nearby but I asked a room with a view to the other street in advance, so no problems, we almost haven't noticed it. The room prices are ok, but u have to pay for every other thing really expensive. The most disturbing was tha WIFI. It's not free and uhave to buy the access for every device u want to use. Unprofessional staffs!!! Receptionists don't give enough info for any questions. Restaurant staffs look angry to work and have no service mind at all. Sometimes I felt they are really rude. It was far from the city (at least half an hour by tram) and we did not like the neighbourhood.
