Boutiquehotel Stadthalle is a family-run and eco-friendly hotel with a beautiful garden, individually designed rooms, and free WiFi. It is just an 8-minute walk from the Westbahnhof Train Station and Vienna’s main shopping boulevard Mariahilfer Straße. An organic buffet breakfast including local products is served in the breakfast room, in the sun-flooded winter garden, or outdoors in the unique green oasis. Boutiquehotel Stadthalle's water is heated by solar panels, and rainwater collected from the roof is used to water the garden. Moreover, all roofs are planted. There is a bicycle trail leading straight to the centre of Vienna from the hotel. A bicycle garage is available free of charge, and bicycles can be rented out at the hotel the whole year. The Westbahnhof Underground Station (lines U3 and U6) provides direct connections to the city centre. From the nearby Beingasse Tram Stop, you can also get quickly to the city centre, as well as to the picturesque Spittelberg area. From another nearby tram stop, Schönbrunn Palace is reachable within just a few minutes. Vienna's Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) can be easily reached in 15 minutes by tram line 18.

I liked the access to non-smoking rooms, and the fact that the Boutique Hotel Stadthalle is structured to be environmentally friendly. I liked how the breakfast buffet did not have packaged butter, jams and knäckebrot. I chose this hotel for location, reviews and environmentally friendly facilities. We loved the array of cheeses and smoked meats at breakfast, and the small grocery store across the street was great for getting a lunch to go. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful and the solar powered hot water and electricity was a nice feature!.
all reviews » we normaly stay at large 5 star hotels however this because of the proximity to the West Railroad Station was the best choice for us. This was the best small hotel we ever stayed anywhere. just wonderful. The garden was very nice for breakfast and a coffee break. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. It was very close to the Westbahnhof station (with public transport) but in a quiet area of town.This was the best service of the trip. Staff were knowledgeable,friendly, offered assistance, went out of their way to make this apleasant stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. Usually not a problem but was not feeling well one night and had to walk out in the rain to get a meal. not having a tea or coffee in the room. The hotel has no one afterhours to report problems to. The cold water tap in the bathroom malfunctioned and we couldnt report it to anyone. Hence no shower. The room in which we stayed is relatively small and we could not manage to move around comfortably.our room had very squeaky floorboards. they did not provide for dietary requirements. Well , we did not get the room we booked .a superior was not available,they said. The room had this strange stuffy smell, inspite of the factthat it was cleaned daily.

Close by you will find the train station Westbahnhof which is your subway station to get into the city centre. The tram stop Wiener Stadthalle on line 49 also takes you into the city centre. The tram stop towards Schloss Schönbrunn on line 58 is also just a few minutes away.
