all staff were really friendly and help you in every way they could including letting us book in the hotel early on arrival after our journey. We were late for breakfast the first day as we forgot to put our watches forward, the staff still let us have breakfast. Hotel is in a great location, a short stroll and you are in the shopping area and main tourist attractions. Supermarket is across the street, very handy. Rooms are a good size. The Breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold selection. Would stay at this Hotel again.
all reviews » Its very conveniently placed close to the river. About 5 minutes walk to river. Very decently priced, spacious rooms with dining table, kitchenette (i guess it was a studio), good breakfast, and cordial staff. Very nice people. Just unfortunate .The hotel estaurant was closed for the three days we were there(apart from breakfast ), but that didn't matter - it is impossible to go hungry in Salzburg !. Expensive parking.Children running and screaming through hotel corridor, janking door handles for two days without anybody (except me) said anything. The Burschenschafter Haus across the side street of the hotel will be a problem to guests when it is used. The room pillows are found to be 'too low'.check in time only available around 12:30pm. no powershower found intermittant water delivery in the morning annoying when head full of shampoo! no air conditioning that worked only electric fan if you get room on the side road could be vey noisy with what we presumed were workers gathering after closing pubs etc. needed to keep window closed.It was not helpful to find that the restuarant was closed.also the advertisement stated that the railway sattion was tem minutes walk away which is untrue. Dining room closed early for evening meal.pillows for the bed were quite uncomfortable - far too soft. During summertime someone more sensitivie might have difficulties to sleep as there is no air condition.Beds were a little hard. Everything in the hotel looks a little bit old. The shower cabin is too small, and the water temperature could change from cold to hot suddenly.

By public transport: From the airport take bus no. 2 to the train station. There you can take any bus going to Mirabellplatz. There change to bus no. 4, which will take you to the hotel.
