I was very pleased with this hotel. The hotel is a recent remodel of an old building. The rooms are very clean, modern and nice. As with all old buildings, nothing is large. elevators, corridors and rooms are a bit small. HOwever, this is the case with all places in Salzburg. The location of NH Salzburg is excellent. About a 5 minute walk to the river. Across the river are the Mozart museum, etc. The walk from the hotel to the river is very nice with a friendly pedestrian zone (shops, etc.) alon - Jason

I stayed one night at the NH hotel in Salzburg. I made a great choice. The hotel is very modern, the rooms are clean and a good size. It's a very short walk through the narrow lovely winding restaurant filled paths of Europe to the old city. I stayed in Salzburg because of it's proximity to Berchtesgaden. It's only a 40 minute bus ride between the two. Free internet computers are avaiable for free in the lobby. English is spoken well here. I have no complaints at all and totally recommend this h - David

What an amazing room we had. Top floor. Beautiful, large windows on two walls - corner room. View of the mountains. Very modern, like most NH Hotels we've stayed at. They checked us in early and the service at the front desk was great - especially compared to the NH Wein in Vienna. An easy walk to the old town and close to Mirabell Gardens too. Would stay here again. - Michael
