One of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. Breakfast was wonderfuland a great variety. There were even a variety of coffee drinks which israre without paying extra. We had a room facing the busy street, butonce you closed the windows it was very quiet. Lots of storage space(shelves) for items, very clean and comfortable beds. The location wasgreat and staff helpful. it is a very old hotel and every Salzburger is familiar with it. The hotel is completely stripped and rebuilt inside. It is very modern, very well done. we loved it. An atmosphere of taking good care of the guests. good beds, splendid breakfast and at the beginning of the pedestrian area of Salzburg. Not too far from the railwaystation.

The hotel has recently been refurbished and the decor was really good. The breakfast was excellent, in this nice bright, airy room. We let the receptionist know these details. great buffet breakfast, great location between the train station and the old town, very nice walking distances, rooms have been recently modernized and updated. Nice staff, very helpful. The room is not really comfortable (jalusee instead of curtains and white walls made it look like a room in the hospital..). We booked two rooms. One was good size, second one was very small yet we paid same price. Venetian blinds did not keep light out in the morning so we woke up when the sun rose! Curtains or heavier blinds would be a big improvement.requires rennovation in the rooms. Room was a little small with limited space to relax.
