  The location is brilliant. Wien State Opera was the reason we came to Wien and the hotel is just 100 meters from the Opera house.   Astoria is ancient hotel with good tradition of services. Helpful and attentive staff, comfortable and lovely room, location in the centre - near Opera, museums, nice restaurants and cafe. Wonderful staying! We are more than happy with that choice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. You can buy your underground tickets from the reception desk. We had a large bedroom, with sofa and armchair (the sofa became a double bed which my 8 year old son slept on) Children up to the age of 12 stay for free.

  I stayed here in May 2013 and I loved this Hotel, exactly the type of accommodation I look for on a City Trip. Comfortable, traditional, and in an absolutely fantastic location! Literally step out of your door and your are right in the centre and within 5 or 10mins (walk) of all the main attractions and there is plenty to see and do on the way. Th - there was a radio in the room which ı have never seen in any hotel before. the personnel were friendly and always smiling. ıt is in the middle of the center and u-bahn is so close. there are lots of things close to the hotel. the bed and pillow was very comfortable. the room was clean. the chocolate that they everyday leave in the room after cleaning was delicious:) the bathroom was clean and in good contion. everything in the bathroom was useful,clean and new.
