The general ambience of the hotel. With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests. The Staff is friendly and very professional! The service was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and peaceful. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere.... I would definately book at the hotel again as well as refer people to book there....

My God what a place to stay! We arrived quite late in the dark and woke to the most incredible views on the planet! Food is fantastic, staff are really friendly and helpful. Loved, loved loved our stay here. Great place to stay with kids as there are little farm animals, pool and playground and they organise lots of kids activities! Very romantic

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Champagne Castle Hotel. It is in a beautiful setting with so many enjoyable walks direct from the hotel gardens. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to any of our friends and family who may visit the Drakensberg.

Garth, Jeanine and Rosina are warm, caring hosts who take your experience personally. We were treated like family - but that wasn't unique to us. I watched them care for everyone with as much attentiveness as each desired. The location is very good, feeling is like home.
