After several nights in noisy city hotels, we were thankful for this location with mountain views from each window, away from city noise, but just a 15-minute bus ride into Salzburg from a bus stop 5 minutes away. Breakfast was bountiful and we had delicious dinners there both nights.

Sandra, the owner, was wonderfully helpful. She speaks German, Italian, English, and some French. We were driving, and so the free parking was a bonus (Salzburg has very expensive parking.) Breakfast was great. The B&B is a little over a half mile from the Eastern end of the historic old town area. -

Breakfast little overpriced, but again, You have a choice and You don't have to take it.

Herbert, Ricki and Alexander made our time in Salzburg so much more memorable. Herbert pension is a lovely accommodation with everything we could ask for and GREAT value for money.

Staying with Herbert and his family at their pension was one of the highlights of our 3 week trip. It was great to talk to Herbert during breakfast (and for an hour or two after...) and hear his perspective on some many things. He was able to help us create a couple of great itineraries that included things that aren't on the usual tourist trek.

The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean.
