Staff was very helpful and polite. We arrived late and could easily get keys to our room from the security safe provided. We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

The accommodation was a short walk to the city centre. The garden was lovely and everything was impeccably clean. Plenty of parking was available and a great selection of tasty options was provided for breakfast. The staff were hospitable and the Salzburg card (which is great value for money - was available for purchase at the front desk.

After several nights in noisy city hotels, we were thankful for this location with mountain views from each window, away from city noise, but just a 15-minute bus ride into Salzburg from a bus stop 5 minutes away.
