  I really appreciated the fact that we were upgraded to a triple room, the internet was free and the breakfast was wonderful. - Staff was very friendly and very helpful-they even had a map of the area with nearby restaurants.   We were travelling with teenage daughters and we all appreciated the family unit that had two bedrooms and very spacious bathroom. The breakfast room was lovely and the selection of food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.   Hotel Krone 1512 is conveniently located in the center of the city, in a street (LinzerGasse) closed to traffic. All attractions and historical places are within reach of walking. We made this trip by train through the lovely countryside. It was very easy to locate the LinzerGasse and the Hotel from the Bahnhof. Th - We loved everything about this hotel. The location was superb (1-1/2km to train station and walking distance to old town Salzburg), the street (Linzergasse) was pretty and vibrant, the hotel was clean and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! If you love to stick your head out the window and see what's going on in the street below, ask for a room facing the front (fun!). There are also lovely quiet rooms facing the back. The manager was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions

Jag blev sjuk med hög feber och personalen skickade efter doktor inom en timma som tog prov och gav ut medicin sa att jag kunde resa hem nasta dag! Hotel isadorable, by the way. - We would rate this hotel of one of the best we have stayed at. It is close to the main rail and bus stations ,also good restaurants. Walking to the town centre is an easy one about 15 to 20 mins.

  This was an amazing find. Literally in the heart of old Salzburg; close to the water, Mozart's birthplace and the French Church with a beautiful panorama of the city. We suspect because it's only newly open (rebuilt in 2010-12) people don't know about it yet but it is without fault. We made good use of the kitchen area for cups of tea, breakfasting, and also chocolate from the vending machine. The computer was useful for checking weather and emailing home, but wifi would be good to have if possible.

  Everything is excellent. We did like the swimming pool with pure blue water on the hotel's backjard. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet as well as very beautifully decorated in an old style. The hotel is a family run business who are very friendly and speak the English language. The breakfast is friendly and musically surrounded. The bus stop is in 6 minutes walk from the hotel. - Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.
