  I stayed for a night with my mum. The wonderful hosts greeted us on arrival and carried our bags to our studio appartment. Service and amenities were excellent and very well maintained.   This is a lovely old (19th century) hotel with high ceilings and attractive features not found in modern buildings. We loved our 'room' - which was in fact a suite, with a separate kitchen-diner. It's extremely well-located, being on the very edge of the Geelong CBD (and hence close to restaurants), and a short walk to the Bay and beach.
