The owners have totally renovated this lovely old building and done it very sympathetically - it is modern but retains the period features. A lovely sitting room is available for guests although we did not have cause - Les Fleurons is in an excellent location; it is a short, fairly level walk from the heart of the town and our train connected with a quick shuttle bus ride from the rail station.   We were here for two nights with our two young children in an adjoining suite of rooms (Margaux et Jules). With a satnav we found the place without any trouble (though I wouldn't have wanted to be without it!) and were impressed on our arrival with the attractiveness of the setting, the chateau itself and our rooms. Driving there we went up the wrong road and our hearts dropped thinking it was going to be a crummy place based on the lay of the land.   Wow!! The property is next to the river Loire and easy to find. On arrival we were met by the lovely friendly couple who own the Chambres dHotes working on their part of the caves. The breakfast was good and when the owners came back from an evening out they gave - Spending the night in a cave that feel modern and has a swimming pool is great! The owner is very welcoming. You feel like you are staying at a friend's home. The yard is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. You can bring a picnic with you. We were able to use the refrigerator. There is a large TV and leather sofa in the common area. The rooms are cozy and well decorated. The shower is nice also. The breakfast was good. Convienient location for seeing Amboise and nearby chateaux.

Breakfast of orange juice, coffee or tea, and wonderful fresh bread and croissants with butter and jam is served in the restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful. A great bed and breakfast find. - I recently stayed in this lovely guest house for a few days and I really enjoyed staying there. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was so quiet and yet right in the middle of Amboise! Perfect location. Breakfast was good and the restaurant below the rooms served very tasty Italian food. I would definitely go back there!

The room we stayed in was stunning, and the photos we'd seen beforehand absolutely did not do it justice.   The owner, Roselyn, was friendly, gracious and courageous as we communicated with very limited knowledge of each other's language. Fortunately, her English was much better than our French! The rooms were very comfortable, each with a dedicated bathroom with a great shower and even a spa in one of them! The lady of the house not only supplied ice to chill our wine, but she brought out plates and cutlery for our picnic.
