We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h

  The women conscierges were wonderful, allowing us to relax in France andpractice our flawed French. We were able to picnic poolside after hours,just relax in a beautiful house. We had many requests for extra towels,ashtray for cigars, directions, etc, and each was met with a smile. Wewould love to return. Ambroise is a lovely town and is a great place to stay and take day trips to the area's many chateaux, and the chateaux at Amboise itself is lovely. If I were to go back again, I'd want to stay again at Le Manois Saint Thomas. I recommend it highly!

  We were here for two nights with our two young children in an adjoining suite of rooms (Margaux et Jules). With a satnav we found the place without any trouble (though I wouldn't have wanted to be without it!) and were impressed on our arrival with the attractiveness of the setting, the chateau itself and our rooms.
