It's a beautiful hotel, well-located near the Vieux Port. Our room was front facing, so had a tiny but lovely wrought-iron balcony overlooking the street. The room was clean and simply but nicely furnished with wooden shutters on the wall.

Everything - we went on to stay at the Cezanne in Aix en provence afterwards - same price - no comparision we wish we'd stayed hear. Incredibly eccentric and charming family run hotel complete with dog and budgies.Good location next to the ocean. (well there's a fairly busy road inbetween- ask for a room on the top floor) Walking distance to the center of Marseille or there's an excellent bus service just outside the entrance.

Everything! The host Laurent was incredibly friendly and gave us a tour
around the area upon arrival and lots of tips on what to do in the city.
The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Basic cooking
ingredients as well as Orange Juice for in the morning were provided.

We appreciated the combination of living in a calm ‘frenchy’ part of the city with the ocean as a neighbour after a touristic day in the noisy and lively city centre.
Nice boulangeri and boucheri nearby.
