The hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

Breakfast was served outside on the decking, surrounded by flowers. I highly recommend staying here, it was laid back and relaxing and great value for - Host and manager very charming. We were made to feel relaxed and completely at home. We had the use of a kitchen, frig etc. Comfy beds and lots of charm in the old villa. 10 mins. Walking to town, and then returning to a tranquil environment, only thing missing would be a pool in the summer! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Aix is a vibrant destination, with a range of facilities and attractions from the Cezanne trail, to country walking around Mont Sainte-Victoire, and of course lots of shops including a vibrant market several days a week. Marseille is a half-hour train ride away, and we took the bus to the beautiful beach at Cassis.
