  Great budget family run hotel with fabulous gourmet restaurant.Good location within walking distance to the center of Amboise. We stayed not in the main building but in separate cottage facing beautiful old garden. The staff was very helpful (the owner and his wife are always at the front desk). The food in the restaurant was amazing. Highly reco... hva folk sier » mmend. - We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. There is a delightful garden area and the meals at the restaurant were exceptional as was obvious from the locals who also were dining there. We had such a good time and would love to go back.

  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was really nice to be able to have dinner at the hotel in their restaurant. The restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday so need to be aware of this and have other plans. The motel is out of town and I think you need access to a vehicle to stay here especially in cold wet weather.
