We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

This was so much more than a B&B. Clean, bright, modern and so comfortable. It felt more like a boutique hotel on a B&B budget. The yummy breakfast was placed outside our room at the time we’d requested which was great as we’ve never really enjoyed eating breakfast around a communal table with total strangers. Instead we spent a lovely morning lounging in our big cosy bed in our fluffy bathrobes having breakfast and looking out at the most wonderful views of the Pyrenees and listenin

This was exceptionally good. From the welcome, to the room, to the food. All were excellent. It was the little things, such as access to a community fridge with wine and water, that made the stay of one night really enjoyable, homely and friendly. Very family friendly staff and amazing property. You must understand the pro's and cons before coming here to appreciate it. If you're looking for elevators, HD TVs, and a gym you'll be very disappointed, go stay in a Holiday Inn. If you'd like to stay in a beautiful chateau in the small French village in the countryside, then you'll love it.

Chateau de Blomac is a gem. The women who owns it wonderfully helpful
in many ways and has created a wonderful small hotel in an old chateau.

it´s remoteness yet still convenient to the Pays Cathar which I really wanted to explore. The hostess provided me with a kettle for my convenience and dried my clothes before I was leaving, after being rained on. The breakfasts were well provided with choice.All good. -

This small private guest house was very comfortable and well placed a short stroll from the main attractions. The on street parking was ok as it's on a quiet side street. Myriam served us an excellent breakfast in the garden.
The guest's roof terrace offers great views across to the old Cite. There are hundreds of places to eat in the evening we found the Jardin d'ete excellent, great pizzas and a good ambiance within a walled garden just below the Cite walls
