We had amazing time at B&B Dochavert. Location is perfect, only 10-minute walk to the old city and restaurants.
This is a very beautiful B&B, hosts are the nicest people. They met us with champagne and snacks. Gweni was very helpful, she recommended few great restaurants in Carcassonne along with other beautiful places to visit while we were in Languedoc.
The property is gorgeous with beautiful views of the castle and countryside. We had great breakfast with the most marvelous variety

This was exceptionally good. From the welcome, to the room, to the food. All were excellent. It was the little things, such as access to a community fridge with wine and water, that made the stay of one night really enjoyable, homely and friendly. We will be staying again on future trips to France. -

Very family friendly staff and amazing property. You must understand the pro's and cons before coming here to appreciate it. If you're looking for elevators, HD TVs, and a gym you'll be very disappointed, go stay in a Holiday Inn. If you'd like to stay in a beautiful chateau in the small French village in the countryside, then you'll love it.

Chateau de Blomac is a gem. The women who owns it wonderfully helpful
in many ways and has created a wonderful small hotel in an old chateau.
We stayed in 15 small chambres d'hotes on our trip to France and
this was our favorite. The décor of the old chateau blends modern
comfort with traditional French style. She has thought of all the

The veranda restaurant overlooks some superb countryside, the food was delicious and good value with an interesting selection of local wines. The staff were friendly and informative. -

The hosts of this guest house made us feel really welcome. The blazing lovely fire in the sitting room greeted us on our arrival and the dinner (5 courses) was delicious at only 20 Euros each. Paul, le Patron, is a very hospitable, cheerful, helpful and friendly
host. In addition he is a superb chef. Aux Quatre Saisons is worth a
visit just for dinner alone. The price charged for dinner there should
probably be at least three times as much as Paul charges and would be in
any Restaurant with any reputation; 6 splendid courses with appropriate
very well chosen wines, all inclusive. This is Michelin star cuisine.

Enjoyed 3 nights of luxury during 5 weeks in France. Loved the quiet location (car GPS needed to find it the first time), but only a short drive into Carcassonne. We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book.
The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.

Le Passage was excellent! I was somewhat nervous staying in carcassonne after reading online you should stay 1 night maximum but we ended up extending our stay! The helpful and friendly staff. The location, which is adjacent to La Cite and within easy walking distance of Carcassonne. The room was well equipped and spacious. The tapas in the restaurant was excellent. I cannot fault Le Passage

Beautiful location set in the minervois wine growing region. The village was of a genuine rustic southern France character, Debbie and Georges very freindly and helpful hosts and the clean, refreshing swimming pool wonderful after a hot day of sight-seeing. We especially enjoyed having breakfast outside under the olive trees. -
