Rates were very reasonable and close to the airport and not very far from the port of Tampa. The restaurant/lounge attached had surprisingly good food and drinks. The staff was very nice and personable. They were informative about transport to their facility from the airport and to the docks.
When my cousin had a problem with the tub in our room, the staff let us into other rooms for her to investigate for a suitable replacement.

The perfect combination (Clean and Quiet), this facility was EXCELLENT for the price. Room smells fresh, not the “who die here” smell that one usually gets when you walk into a vacant hotel room. It will definitely become my prefer and affordable Hotel for this area. Kudos to the cleaning staff

We stayed 3 days at Wingate. First of all I want to say about general
manager - Manuel Aguiar, he is a great manager. Everything was booked up
the night before we came. We arrived in the morning, they cleaned a room
fast for us and let us to check in 5 hours early!
The huge plus is that the Service was great!

the staff was wonderful - every person I came into contact with was helpful, polite, pleasant, and thoughtful to both me and my 5 year old - EXCELLENT JOB! I can't say enough good about the shuttle service - it was unbelievably convenient and prompt! the hotel was very clean, the breakfast had options and the coffee was delicious, the rooms were ample and met our needs, parking was plentiful - the pool wasn't heated and due to the cool weather we couldn't swim but that was the luck of the draw.

This place was great considering what we paid! Our room had a king bed
and it was surprisingly very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated.
Can't beat the distance to rj Stadium either! When everyone else was
paying to park at the stadium and fighting to get out at the end of the
night, we simply walked a few minutes to our room! The staff was very

I enjoyed our stay, it was just off the beaten path and very close to the place we were going to,the staff were very friendly,and we felt safe when coming back in late in the morning yes if there is another concert in tampa are just in your area we would pick that place first.

The room was nicely appointed and absolutely spotless. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The location was great - near amenities and attractions, but not right on the main road with traffic and noise. Pool area was nice, well maintained. This hotel was an absolute excellent value for families.

I liked that the room had the feel of being an efficiency apartment with
its kitchen area. The large kitchen table doubled as a work space with
ample electrical outlets on the nearest wall. The tv was a nice-sized
