We have stayed at the GMI many times over the past ten years and have never failed to be pleased. The staff are friendly, particularly Jane at breakfast who is our GMI hero - our kids have grown up looking forward to seeing her cheery face. She always remembers us, our dogs, our stories. It's just like home from home and it's immaculately taken care of. We love our visits and are already working on our next one.

The family that runs the inn are just wonderful, Kate has the two cutest little boys you could ever imagine -- Sam who is only 15 mos old came out at breakfast to hand us all our cutlery. laid back and friendly, and the room was spacious and spotless -- loved having the little mini kitchen too.

Very friendly at check in. Nice large suite with good facilities. Private patio at the rear of the suite, which had nice views of the river. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices including excellent granola. I would definitely stay here again. -

This is another great place where to stay in Stowe. This place is nice, cool and cozy. Owners are really nice and helpful so we felt very welcome. The young couple who own and operate the Norhern Lights are wonderful. Go out of their way to meet the customer's needs. Late check in...no problem. Can't get wi-fi...fixes the router right away. Makes a point to keep up to date on other business' in the area so they can give good advice to their customers. Absolutely beautiful! We can not wait to go again in the winter. All of the staff were very friendly & courteous. The views are breathtaking.

Bud is an amazing Innkeeper. He's an old throw-back hippie like
myself. The place is a bit far from the action in Stowe, but perfect for
a romantic getaway. The rooms are a bit small and rustic, but if you are
aware of that they will not disappoint. Eat breakfast late, and you get
to talk with the hosts essentially alone. Most of the others get up and
out early to go hiking!

I stayed for two days Riverside Inn, the hotel is a small facility near to all main attractions in Stowe. The owner Julian is a real gentleman and very helpful, nice and friendly. I recommend a stay in this place because the human experience with him is really a pleasure.
