Good value for money, even in San Luis Obispo has not much to do. In front has a shooping center and a large supermarket very good. Next Hotel Madonna Inn worth a visit by exentricidade and has a good restaurant with live music. It is 1.5 miles from the city center. -

The staff treated me like family and the accommidations were perfect
for my needs. I was alone and didn't require much, except a place
to safely sleep. I've known the motel since 1976 when I moved to
San Luis Obispo and I've seen it go through many changed. I was

I always stay at San Luis Inn when I stay in SLO. Best value and location for the money. Quiet and no train sounds!!
The girl at the front desk is very nice, and the cleaning staff is friendly (without being too "nosy" or "pushy" about housekeeping like some hotels.) Rooms are always clean, and they have nice new TV's in some of the rooms.
Good area between Cal Poly campus and downtown, and it's RIGHT NEXT to the two late-night restaurants. Can't go wrong

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we asked about nearby restaurants, they gave us a $10 gift certificate for a steakhouse within easy walking distance. The motel was easy to find and close to anything we might need--a grocery store and several restaurants. -

The big spa tub in the Grand Suite! Yummy buffet breakfast, with Peet's coffee. A bunch of free newspapers available in the morning. Breakfast alone is worth the price of the room - so nice to be able to get up, walk downstairs and have a full, hot breakfast available in a nice environment (not in a small alcove so that folks have to maneuver around each other to get to the food or coffee). As always, the suite design makes traveling so much more comfortable - well worth the price.

the staff accommodated us, even tho we were a day early due to letsbookhotel.com app issues, which was resolved by a quick helpful phone call to help desk, the massive room & 2 massive beds, very good heater that helped in the cold morning, the diner next door, good location to the freeway, and SLO -

The hotel is an older one so the rooms are dated but the room was very clean and met my expectations. -
Conveniently situated, easy to locate, quiet, plenty of hot water, free WiFi, microwave/refrigerator, low cost.

Accommodating-I am a senior and would have had a problem carrying my bag
up the stairs. They provided me with a room down stairs which was very
much appreciated. -
Clean and nice. Not the same color on every wall. Plenty of towels and shampoo without asking. Will go back for sure!!!

I liked the cleanliness, coffee maker, fridge and microwave. We had
enough towels, and the motel did not have noisy people. The manager
reminded me that I left clothes in the room, and that saved me tons
of money!! -
It had everything we needed. Very much a "motel", but clean and efficient.

The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Since this was parent weekend at Cal Poly, every motel was full. We had reservations but I heard them trying to help people who did not have a place to stay. -

For the location and price, this Motel 6 can NOT be beat! We reserved 4 rooms and everyone loved it. Great value, and the staff is superb! This will be our place of choice when visiting the central coast.

Excellent services and superb customer repertoire from housekeeping to the front desk to the owner of the Inn. We stayed in the Delia's Suite and were so impressed with the home like setting and the size of the suite. Thanks to all that provided us with a wonderful stay! -
