The room we were given was 301 which is on the corner of the building so we got two windows to see the beach! We had booked an ocean view room and the view from our balcony was of Scripps park, a cave, the beach and all the silly sea lions and pelicans. The location couldn't have been better; I liked that they had a
ready supply of fresh coffee in the lobby and that they had bathrooms on
a couple of floors so we didn't have to go all the way back to the
room if we were already out; the balcony and view were all they promised
and the beds were comfortable and clean. They held our bags for us
before and after check out and that is big plus for us. We had a
wonderful time and will definitely stay there again soon and probably
for years to come.

Pretty much everything.
For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. Our return for a second vacation in SD this year was because we have found this central, traditional-style, good-value hotel in the Old Town. The size of this resort hotel was much larger than I expected with a lot of nice amenities (restaurants, etc.) on grounds that we did not use (but would in the future). It was a very nice hotel. And so beautiful! We lived in a room with to large queen size. It was very spacious and a bit old fashioned. But in a good way. It was close to a big mall, which we really approved. We didn't have breakfast included, but there is a nice café in the area (the hotel is in a very big area and has a lot of rooms all over the place) that had good sandwiches and Starbuck coffee.

I felt very comfortable staying at your hotel, specially because I traveled w my daughter, and I liked that we had all the shopping center and restaurants very close from us.

All of the art on the walls and the fabrics used throughout the
hotel. Great clean and contemporary feeling. I also liked that it was

All the staff were extremely friendly. I was nicely surprised when they
advised me at check in that they had upgraded me to an executive suite
for the same price. Cute bar and nice location in Del Mar, an easy walk
to the Village. The rooms were very spacious. No extra charge for

The rooms were large and the bed and bedding were first rate. Also, the amenities including free WiFi, fridge, microwave, coffee maker with Starbucks. The grounds were quite lovely as well. And all the staff were friendly and attentive. Also, the location in La Jolla was very good. About 4 miles from the scenic village, and near lots of stores, restaurants, shopping areas.

Very helpful staff. Clean, beautiful layout with 2 pools overlooking Mission Bay / marina. Very relaxing environment. I look forward to returning. We went to the FireFly bar (got in about 9:30 pm) and did not go to any other restaurant/bar. We left our car there the next day as we went to Sea World - walking distance and there is a shuttle.
