Proximity to the state capitol park is excellent and for walkers, the
train station is close (though, for safety, on our night return, we took
a cab). The bathroom was huge and so well appointed! Some rooms must be
configured differently from other comments read. Beds were great, all
was super clean. We requested a higher floor and it was very qui

This is a one night stop on our drive up to Oregon. We love this hotel as the rooms are charming, the staff is helpful and the Grange restaurant is excellent. Also we had a double room this time and the bathroom was enormous. So wonderful for an adult family of 3.

This hotel is close to Old Sacramento & the American River ~ we had
a riverview suite which was beautiful. Breakfast each morning was a
treat, & Joe's Crab Shack is nearby. Everyone we talked to was
friendly, helpful & kind...it was a perfect stay for our 24th
anniversary.

Très bel hôtel avec une décoration raffinée. Hall d'entrée superbe.
Personnel du soir Antonio morales était très accueillant , souriant et
très serviable, disponible. On le remercie vivement. Chambre superbe. Le
seul hôtel sur les 15 que nous avons fait a avoir des tasses en
porcelaine dans la chambre pour boire le café ou le thé. Très agréable. -

The room was huge and worth the money for sure. The hotel was clean and all of the staff was great. The continental breakfast was big and there was plenty of room to eat. -
The security guard helped me carry my largest suitcase to my room upon arrival, and the desk clerk never hesitated to unlock the snack room for my purchases.

Stayed here before and it has been nicely remodled. Beds comfortable. Room well appointed. Internet very fast which isunusual for any other places stay. Staff really nice, helpful, and friendly. Exercise room state of the art, TV on machines. They closed their old resturant and have counter-like hot/cold food order order place with common menu it

Staff was friendly, accommodating and patient..view of the pool area was great, loved the food court area, beds were comfy, tucked away in Medical Facility local, close to every thing was convenient. Memorable Staff members include: Marcia, who made us feel at home. Jessica who went the extra mile in the dessert dept. Araceli who had great poise and patience in ensuring that we had an adequate room. There were others that contributed to a comfortable experience, we just don't know the names.

The Mansion and its location, across New and Old Sacramento City Hall,
city and county government. The area was very nice, clean, always quiet
and it felt very peaceful and comfortable staying in that section

city. Closeness to transportation, the library, Cesar Chaves Park, and
even Old Sacramento not really that far walking distance from the Hostel
Mansion. And of course the price, very reasonable to anyone's
traveling budget. -
Pretty much everything esp the people, both staff & guests. Decor
spectacular, but I slept in the parlour in a chair, not wanting to go
into that bunkbed, & no curtains on the window, so that the morning
sun would have awakened me. Also, a serial killer like ted bundy or
richard speck could easily have climbed those stairs & murdered
every woman asleep up in there.
