I loved the history of the hotel. It's not like the huge hotels on the island, but it is romantic in that it kind of takes you back in time. Don't look at it as what it could be, but for what it once was and still is, and you will fall in love with it. Arrived at night, so didn't see that they have this beautiful view of the ocean. Very friendly at reception. Parking was good even though others took advantage of parking along the perimeters of the lot. That is, we wanted to be sure that we could get out of the parking lot in the very early hours of the morning so that we we could get ur early inter-island flight. Hotel staff curule ensure tat people did not park in the thoroughfare of the exit of the parking lot.

I appreciate the hard work each staff member put into making the facilities clean and beautiful, with a friendly atmosphere. And, it's close to a great smoothie shop!! Parking was affordable and beaches accessible with an enjoyable walk. -

Uncle Billy's has character! Lovely central garden and great view of

The location cannot be beat close to the beaches market and shops. It was like living in a botanical garden beautiful plants flowers and amazing pool. The room quality ranges from 1 star to 5 stars, each with increasing price. It would be helpful if this were advertised on letsbookhotel.com. Luckily the hotel had a better room available than the one star unit we first saw.

This is a unique lodging. Each room is very different. The bathrooms are very large, great for relaxing after the airplane flight. The grounds are large with good views of the local countryside. Quiet and private.
For those who want spacious accommodations, this is a certainly a location to consider.
Parking is easy and location is less than a mile to many shops.
Good location for arriving and departing Big Island; the airport is about 40 minutes away by car on good roads.

This place has a some kind of a charm that might not be obvious at first
glance. It felt like living in a real Hilo, not just a random hotel that
could be the same anywhere in the world. It`s not shiny and new but
clean, comfortable, peaceful and taken care of. Open lobby was great

Loved this place, Highly recommend staying here, very relaxed cool place

showing us all the cool sites to see like the waterfalls, black and
green sand beaches, with the turtles, 4x4 track near the cliff and blow
hole jump, wow too many to mention, just ask them when you get there. Oh

Perfect place, we loved it here. Patricia has a lovely home and she
rents out rooms to guests. So this is more a homestay than a hotel.
Everything was clean and cosy, and breakfast was definitely the best we
had in Hawaii!!! Take a close look at the address and a map before you
go though, because there is no sign on the house.

The location is excellent to the national park. It is private home-like room in a quiet community.
Although it locates a little far from the city, it provides enough needs for everyone. The stars is brilliant in the night and wild birds singing in the morning. -
