  I loved the staff! They were so friendly and had a lot of tips on where to go on the island. The room was clean and they even left a note for my boyfriends b-day. When we woke up the view was stunning. The fog was clinging to the ocean and the ferry was coming in.   I liked the decor. It's impressive how good taste in paint and decor can turn a "box" into a comfortable, attractive place. The staff was very helpful and friendly- honest, good recommendations. Having bikes for guest use is a real plus. We had fun in the pool. The local lavender bath products were excellent. Tory was especially helpful, from picking us up at the ferry, to restaurant suggestions, to giving us directions to a state park within biking distance manageble by 2 kids that had grills for a cookout. The spa for the adults was excellent and the kids loved the pool. Even though we stayed during high season, the rooms were very quiet inside. Definite thumbs up.
