It's was daughters 7th birthday. The staff went above and beyond.
Recognized her at breakfast the following day and took it upon
themselves to sing her happy birthday even remembering her name. Upon
check out they had a hand written card with a small gift (winter hat)
thanking her for spending her birthday at The Whiteface Lodge .

Absolutely superb accommodations that met and exceeded all expectations. The game room, movie theater, bowling, pools and the lakeside water sports added value at every turn. Breakfast was a delight and the staff superb. The room was spacious with every creature comfort imaginable and the architecture and views were remarkable.

Real nice stay. Close enough to Saratoga racecourse without getting beat up on the room rates. Absolutely top class steakhouse on site which was pricey but definely worth the buck (as good if not better than any nyc. Steakhouse I've eaten in. Proximity to the highway a plus. Overall nice stay, I'll probably be back there next time I'm in the area

Historic, gorgeous Inn with tons of character, both inside and out. Decorated in unique Adirondack style. Awesome whirlpool and indoor pool on the ground floor. Spa is renowned. Breakfast buffet in The View restaurant was delicious. Room was plenty big for three women and tastefully decorated. Hotel is perfectly located right on the lake and a close walk to everything in town.

Parking was at a premium. We arrived after 9:00 PM and when the desk clerk heard me say I had to go out to find a parking space, he moved his car from a very convenient spot, so I could use it.

Our fourth- floor balcony room had a wonderful view of Mirror Lake and the mountains. This place is an authentic jewelry! The location is ideal, in the lively city center but right on the lake, featuring a private beach provided with chairs, canoe, paddle boats, toys for the kids, etc.; the staff is professional and attentive, the people in charge of the room cleaning very efficient; our room was quiet and comfortable; the pool and the whirlpools are a nice "plus". We will definitively come back!

So nice to see lemonade and cookies at check-in desk, even though we were too full to enjoy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bacon beautifully cooked at breakfast buffet; pancakes good. The location is very close to the lake and there are many good restaurants nearby. The first night we were given a room that was over looking at the back parking but in the morning the staff were helpful in locating us to a room that overlooking at the lake which was very nice.
