I traveled for business but I am already planning to vacation here. The prices of every hotel quintuple in the summer, as they do here, but since the prices are much more reasonable than other places I really think this is a great value. The rooms are large and clean, the showers might be a bit small but the hot water never ran out with GREAT water

The manager, Denise, was exceptional. She was very kind and assisted us with finding the perfect rooms for our stay. She also went out of her way to recommend restaurants in the vicinity.

My sister and I traveled to NYC for an event at NYU. I loved the location being at Washington Square. We walked to dinner each night at small ethnic restaurants. The free breakfast was a great addition- coffee was very good. Loved the look and style of the hotel. Staff was amazing and VERY accommodating. After traveling to NYC for years and staying in Midtown - this was so much more fun and the room was the quietest I have ever had and the bed was comfortable. Cant wait to go back to the villag

Hotel 414 was great! We visited in July 2013 for 8 days. We found all the staff to be super friendly and helpful. They gave us several maps, made recommendations for nearby restaurants and Broadway shows and helped us book our train to DC. The breakfast was great! 1.Great location in Midtown, it's right near everything; broadway shows,public transport, numerous restaurants, etc.
2. It's quiet; we had a room on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard and there was little noise from outside, or, from other rooms
3. It's reasonably priced. We stayed for 11 days and the total accommodation bill was great for a central Manhattan hotel
4. It feels more like a B & B than a big hotel which I much preferred
5. A good continental breakfast was included in the room

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We spent a lot of peaceful
time on the verandah, viewing wildlife and using very high speed wifi.
The decor may not be to all tastes, it is unique so if you don't
like the photos online, don't go. We loved its quirkiness!

Outside construction noise worried me upon arrival, but we were given a room that faced the back courtyard and overall our stay was very quiet.

I love the cozy atmosphere and the helpful staffs. I checked in a bit too early but the front desk found me a room nevertheless. The location is awesome, and not too busy. My room albeit so small, is comfy and clean, perfect for a solo female traveler. They even gave me free coffee and cookies on my last night. My check out was super smooth and quick. Will stay here again when i go to NY

The B&B was beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was a true Victorian home furnished in that way. The food was delicious as Alicja prepares fresh homemade scones, waffles, frittata and fresh fruits, juice and unlimited tea/coffee. She is warm and welcoming with great suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. I highly recommend a stay at this wonderful B&B!

The location of the Sun Castle Resort is superb. Our townhouse had a direct view of the lake from the balcony and many of the rooms. The resort also has a pool and a small lake-front beach. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The resort is located a few miles from Lake George Village, and it is thus early to go into town and back by car. The townhouse was very well appointed and clean. This was a great find for us.
