  Hotel Macomber was just darling! We booked last minute & didn't really know what to expect. The room was quaint, yet adorable and romantic. We weren't expecting to see the ocean - as we didn't request a room with a view, but you could see the ocean from our bathroom & bedroom. The staff members were really sweet & helpful! Took about 15 minutes to get to the Cape May Zoo & about 5 minutes - My daughter and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. The owner was very friendly with my daughter who is special. In my book that means everything to me. The hotel was clean and the staff were very accommodating. It was steps away from the beach.I would recommend staying at the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel has the best food in Cape May. The local wine was good too.

  Location was close to shops & restaurants; oceanfront balcony was priceless! Complimentary breakfast that was included with reservation was delicious - and very plentiful. The place was incredibly clean, which by the way, is usually EXTREMELY hard to find at the Jersey Shore!! - Sandy who was in charge of breakfast was very friendly and hos... ce que les gens disent » pitable.   Well decorated room, walk to town, bar in lobby, comfortable bed, super soft sheets, continental breakfast - Staff was great, brought tea service at night, sheets and amenities were very nice Good B&B
