My husband and I make Clearwater a hotel our destination when we travel to Mackiaw City. We've stayed there about 7-8 times over 21 years if marriage.
Always clean, professional staff, particularly the office staff. Quiescent and located right on Lake Huron. Great accommodations.

The staff was wonderful from the moment we walked in the door. All of them made our children feel extra special and went above and beyond. The little things that each of the staff members did made our stay so great. The pool was very nice, breakfast was good, and the location was ideal. -

This hotel is in a great location for an overnight when flying out of Detroit airport. The airport shuttle is free and runs every15 minutes. They will even drop you off directly at the car rental. The hotel is fairly quiet. I only heard a couple of planes overhead. The beds and room are comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast

Location very close to the airport with free shuttle service to the
airport and the car rental location, a few restaurants and fast food
restaurants in walking distance to the hotel, nice for staying after or
before arrivals, for everything else a car is needed. Breakfast for
american hotel standards quite ok.

The staff was friendly and polite. The facility was clean with a well-maintained beach. Breakfasts were more than I expected. Pretty much continental style with a lot more choices. Kid friendly with arcade and indoor swimming pool. All around, it was a very enjoyable experience for my wife and me.

We especially enjoyed the sausage gravy and biscuits and the amazing cinnamon rolls. This hotel was in a very convenient location. It was very close, in
fact, walking distance to many restaurants and stores. My family and I
had traveled a long way to attend the aau Jr. Olympics, and this hotel
was just about perfect for our needs. I would not hesitate to stay here
again. All requests were taken care of quickly and professionally by the
staff from the front desk to housekeeping.

Noisy neighbors! Doors were slammed every 5 minutes from 12:30am to 2:00am. Never had such thin walls before. Net day, front desk said I should have called, but I felt the front desk should have heard the doors as we were close to the lobby. Were given a credit on my bill. -

We have stayed here several times and have never had a complaint. The staff are very friendly, go out of their way to be helpful and the breakfast is one of the best included in the cost. There is fresh coffee all night and if it is not fresh the staff will make more. The hotel is close and convenient for all shopping. -
