  We had a 2nd floor apartment on a 2 storey block - try to ask for the 2 storey buildings when you book. It was fantastic. The location is great, just in front of the beach.We sat on our balcony every night and watched the sun go into the sea and then the sky turn beautiful colours. It was good to be opposite the shops. We liked the pineapple in the fridge when we got the - The view of Molokini Crater, Kahoolawe, and Kameole Two was unparalleled. The morning snorkling off the rocks in front of Hale Pau Hana afforded a great variety of fishes and many green sea turtles. Our unit was superb and the other guests and staff were friendly.

  This is Hawaii's Hawaiian Hotel. We had a room on the main floor, garden view, room 178 (smoking outside). It didn't face the large area of the garden, but it did have a small garden outside our room. We enjoyed it more because it was secluded. You could see the ocean through the trees. Many lounge chairs on the grass area and under trees. It is a 5 m - The Ka'anapali Beach Hotel is built upon traditional Hawaiian values and friendliness. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel sponsors a cultural enrichment and community give-back program that encourages its employees to honor their Hawaiian culture and to participate in community ventures. I was particularly impressed with the children's passport activity in which each child is issued a passport with their Hawaiian name. My daughter loved going to the various places, telling her Hawaii

  The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or "Hilton" at all. It's next to Pa'ia which was a great little hippie town with very affordable food. - Loved the relaxing vibe and the evening meal

  We loved getting up in the morning and have coffee on the lanai watching the turtles. Bruce, the concierge, was extremely helpful. Everything is provided, except food (that includes the beach towels). No air conditioning, but with the sea breezes and fans, you actually get cool at night. Our unit was on the second floor with a panoramic view of the ocean and the island of Molokai overlooking two beautiful swimming pools. The turtles were seen everyday nearvthe rocky shoreline. We enjoyed the soft music that played each day and the gorgeous sunsets from our lanai.

  Jim Music was very accommodating in getting us a room earlier than check-in. We were very fortunate that we stayed longer the next day since the room wasn't booked. We were able to eat supper and take a shower before our late flight. The staff was absolutely wonderful in helping us with our stay. - I like everything!!!   The staff and guests just seemed so much more pleasant and approachable than other resorts we visited in the area. The location, beach and quiet were ideal for us. We visited the Four Seasons, Andaz and Grand Wailea and just felt more "at home" at the Makena.   We like the condo/home feel and amazing beach location. This was our third stay over the years and we will stay again. Farmers Market is great. - Kihei Beach Resorts Rooms were great. The Beaches, views, and sea turtles amazing not to mention very friendly people:)
