  The staff were friendly, but busy. Anyone who made noise before 8am were reminded of the quiet rule. Everything was well-regulated, including the parking- you better park between the lines or else!   This was our first trip to Maui from Canada and I booked our stay at the Courtyard because I knew we would be tired after travelling for so many hours. As it was our flights were delayed and we were so thankful the hotel was only a minute drive from the airport. The staff was excellent and very helpful which made us feel welcome. The following mor... ce que les gens disent » ning we were again so thankful we had picked the Courtyard because we had to do some shopping and every store we needed, Costco, Walmart, Safeway and - The staff were very helpful with their suggestions on where to go for dinner, etc. I also liked that Starbucks Coffee was on site. Other hotel coffees tend to miss the mark. This is so important when you wake up and need to get your day started! I also loved the onsite laundry facilities - it helps keep clothes fresh since we go through many clothes with the heat and humidity.

  I came with my then wife on a 25th anniversary trip in 1997. Since then there has been quite a bit of development of other hotels in the area since then but there is still a feeling of space because of the surrounding golf courses. Access from pool to sea is excellent.   I have been staying here at papakea everytime I come to maui for the last 25 years. I love the property and the staff is always nice and helpful. I always feel like I gat my value for my money. - The resort is clean and friendly

  Maui is a beautiful small island and Kahului is conveniently located to explore the many sites it has to offer or get on exiting tours. The hotel has an excellent activity desk that helps book tours/shuttles and advises which sites to visit. The bus service from Kahului is good and cheap to visit the south side of the island for swimming or snor... ce que les gens disent » keling. The hotel room appeared to have been refurbished fairly recently. - Staff was very polite. Rooms were clean beds made bathrooms clean. Saturday night prime rib and crab buffet was excellent. Very affordable and the setting was very nice. Should I ever visit Maui again I will be sure to stay at Maui beach hotel.
