  The facade of the facility is very beautiful but the rooms need updating. The room I stayed in seemed a bit run down. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom's faucets and shower faucets were all rusted and dirty looking like cleaning solution was placed on them but they were never cleaned.   I liked the coziness of the Inn. The room was very nice and my window overlooked the Main Street which was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very nice. - Location ideal for an academic visit to Wesleyan. Good access to downtown shops and restaurants. Dining room remained open past 10 pm, which was a big help.

  My husband and I stayed here because we were going to the Mohegan Sun Brewfest and wanted accommodations with shuttle service to the casino. It worked out great! The hotel was super clean and the shuttle service was excellent. It does cost an Additional $15 pp round trip but well worth it for us. There were actual birds in the lobby, not sure if they were supposed to be there or squatting, but I thought they were cute. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
