  This motel is the cleanest place I've ever stayed at! Incredible! Beds are so comfy and the staff is top notch, very friendly folks. Breakfast was good and the rooms are quiet and clean. One night we had a regular queen room and on our return visit we had the 2 queen suite.   The motel is about 4 blocks downhill from the Amtrak Station and a very nice walk in good weather. Very convenient to restaurants and pubs and close to the Glenwood Springs Bathhouse.   The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. The place is definitely older. Very clean and what you would expect from a buget-friendly motel. It looked like it was totally renovated in the last few years. For a ski lodging it is a cut above the rest. We have even rented some homes in Pagosa that weren't as nice.
