We had a delightful stay at Summit Lake Lodge with among the most friendly proprietors we have encountered. We stayed in a cabin which was an ideal mixture of updates and Alaskan charm, tucked away in the trees surrounding Summit Lake. My husband and I stayed overnight at the Summit Lake Lodge, and we both
greatly enjoyed the experience. The cabins are very comfortable and well
decorated with careful attention paid to small details that make the
cabins feel so "homey". The owners and staff are warm and
personable and really go the extra mile to take care of the guests. The
breakfast that is included in the price is fantastic. The mountain
setting is beautiful, and we enjoyed kayaking in the adjacent lake. We

Very friendly staff.. Quick and friendly check in. Restaurant staff particularly helpful and nothing was a bother for them.
We had cabin beside the creek which was just wonderful.. Balcony onto riverbank plus mountain views.. Clean cabin and enough room to move around in comfort. Table and chairs area a bonus for relaxing. -

This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. -

Drivers of vans were wonderful and extremely helpful. They were our only source of transportation.
Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated.
Everyone went out of their way to be helpful. Much appreciated. -

Really enjoyed my 10 nights here fornteh aurora. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. I chose this nHotel on the outskirts of town, formteh aurora, it had darker skies, and I saw them quite a few times!! There is a busstop out fron, but be aware that minimal to no service at weekends. -

this motel was a pleasure to stay in, we were in one of the end rooms but the room and facilities made up for the lengthy walk to reception. The staff were great and the shuttle too and from town and the airport was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. The lobby was a great place to relax and take in the wall art. -

Location beside the lake with all the personal ski-planes provided good visual entertainment. The Deck restaurant was good value for money with friendly staff, a good entertainer and it was a beautiful sunny evening. My experience in this hotel was very enjoyable and I would stay there again on my next trip.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave in my room. The beds were very comfortable. I'm glad they offer smoking rooms. -
