Very good shuttle service to and from the airport, made life very easy. Bags could be stored for collection at a later date which made travelling a lot easier as we didn't have to take all our camping stuff when visiting other places. Food was good and breakfasts made delightful especially by the really lovely waitress who was always interested in

Compared to other hotels in the area, I liked that it was budget-
friendly. We stayed at the hotel to meet up with our tour group. Your
front desk clerk was extremely professional and helpful when we stayed
the night of June 15, 2013. Would stay again when we are in Anchorage.

We stayed there a couple of nights during our honeymoon and the place was perfect for that purpose. It's centrally located but still quite and private. The general manager Glen is always there and can assist you in case of any practical problems (we had some). We are also thankful to him that we were allowed to cancel our initial stay back in May,

What a delightful find. Spent 3 nights at the Copper Whale inn. It was very comfortable and homely and location was fantastic. The included breakfast was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the Copper Whale Inn and would certainly stay there again if I was to visit Anchorage again.

We arrived late at night (2 AM) on a flight and had parked at Dimond Parking across the street. The Microtel was inexpensive, convenient, and completely suited our needs for a one-night late night stay. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. The hotel is not fancy, but is good value for the money. I would stay again in similar situations. -

Staff very friendly & helpful, close to Denali & Healy, good food at 49th State Brewery which is just down the road. You get the feeling of being away from it all for example a moose was grazing at the hotel when we got there. Nice to have fridge & microwave in room.

Everyone at the hotel was really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. They will also pay for your taxi to and from the airport which is a nice bonus! -

Our view from the room was wonderful, we watched the sea otters play in the harbor between the docks. Beautiful snow covered mountains in the background. Window open to the east to watch the sunrise. We could walk to shop & eat, saving gas and getting a little exercise. -

It was air conditioned, which I hear is not common for Anchorage but was really good to have. Breakfast was OK too. -

Great place, friendly staff. Little balcony in front, watched some kiddos playing baseball. Walking distance to pier, good food at chinooks, clean, convienient, great stay. Small continental breakfast but filling. Fan in room. Would definitely stay again. Glad we booked.

Have been staying at the Puffin for years. It's always a good place to stay. The staff there is exceptional.The general manager has been there for years, is a good leader, and also drives the shuttle! Several people employed at the same company where I work (Red Dog Mine) also stay at Puffin. -
