  When looking for a hotel room, cleanliness is my #1 concern. I don't care so much about extras or amenities -- the room HAS to be clean! I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire property! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was exceptional.   Very nice large room, good parking, safe. Excellent breakfast buffet, with a good staff running it. Good refrig and microwave in the room--room was clean and bed very good. - Staff was excellent, room was outstanding.

  I traveled to Birmingham with a group of high school students and we felt very comfortable with our stay at The Redmont Hotel in downtown Birmingham, AL. Continental breakfast was adequate, beautiful historical building, rooms were great! Students loved the "ghost history"! We had a fabulous stay!
