One of the nice things about this hotel is that it sits a bit back off
of the main strip but it is still within walking distance of many stores
and entertainment areas, including a movie theatre. There is a traffic
signal just down the block and if you are acquainted with the traffic at
Pigeon Forge you will know this is a real bonus. The indoor p

Front Desk Staff was excellent. Breakfast & dining area was very
good. The pool was great. New pull out sofa in rooms was comfortable.
Clean, convenient location in Pigeon Forge is close to Dollywood &
the new Baseball Fields on Wears Valley Rd. It's located about
midway on the parkway so everything is close! Very pleasantly surprised
with the quality, all inside corridor rooms.

We had a two night jacuzzi room located at the far end of one wing far
away from the pools and enjoyed the quiet. Room was clean and
satisfactory. Do not expect a gourmet breakfast but it was adequate and
an addition especially for couples with children. We stayed two nights
and then went to The Inn on Christmas just across the road which was far

My husband and I are local and wanted a night to ourselves. This was perfect!!! The staff was awesome and the hotel was very clean. When we checked out I realized I had forgotten my wedding band. I was on my way to work and could not turn around to get it. I called and the morning staff was very helpful. They found my ring and placed it at the front desk for myself or my husband to pick up. I have never had this kind of customer service at a hotel. It was perfect and we will definitely be comin

The suite was very spacious with plenty of room (there were 4 adults). We really meant to cook a meal, but stayed too late in the smokies! Comfy and clean.
Really liked the Omelet Lady - Dina (I think was her name). She was amazing at not only making the omelets, but in remembering people's names and interacting with the customers. -

We will definitely be staying there every time we visit gatlinburg.. perfect location..1 mile to Dollywood!!!

Loved the full breakfast. They make the best omelets! I liked the pools--
one inside, one outside. Good parking! I also loved they would have
coffee and cookies sitting out in the evening and early morning. Then
when we had to check out the morning really early like 4 am, we were

The continental breakfast wasn't your ordinary bagels and muffins.
Country Cascades had fresh made omelettes made in front of you the way
you wanted and the line that stretched down the hallway told you how
good they were! Then they had fresh made biscuits and gravy, belgian
waffle makers where you could make the waffles yourself so they were
hot and the butter melted on them. Not to mention fresh fruit, bagels,
orange and apple juice, cereal, and milk! Another thing I thought was
very amazing

We loved just about everything at The Resort. This is the perfect place to stay for families with children. Our kids loved both the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the outdoor play area. I have been going to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for the past 10+ years. As far as lodging is concerned The Resort @ Governor's Crossing ranks among the best. The location is wonderful, a little away from the Pigeon Forge "strip" but not too far away. The staff is very friendly and committed to making the stay a wonderful one. The water parks (indoor and outdoor) are very well maintained and my kids had a wonderful time. The hotel suite was very clean and had enough room for my family of 5

I loved having the river right outside our door. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The ducks, geese, and heron entertained us early in the morning and later in the afternoon. The breakfast was scrumptious every morning. The staff were all very friendly and super helpful with directions and suggestions for places to go and things to do. -

We really enjoyed our stay. We did not use the pool area and I would
have loved to but were very busy. We did not have a no room service
ntice so when we came back the room was cleaned nicely, if you know who
cleaned our room tell them thank-you you did a trusted job. And the

Absolutely loved this hotel. We usually stay in a cabin and this was our
first hotel experience in Pigeon Forge. Outstanding staff, very clean
hotel, great breakfast(that includes more than just cereal and bagels)
it was a full breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and a good size. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with whatever we needed. The cleaning staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed staying at James Manor. Next time we visit we will probably use this hotel again. -
Based on other reviews I had read I didn't know what to expect. But

smallest I have seen but its no big deal. Don't expect much from the
breakfast but again that was no big deal for us as we ate out.
