  Very friendly staff.. Quick and friendly check in. Restaurant staff particularly helpful and nothing was a bother for them. We had cabin beside the creek which was just wonderful.. Balcony onto riverbank plus mountain views.. Clean cabin and enough room to move around in comfort. Very convenient to cabins and with early start/late closing options. Small rooms and no tv but that's ok. The noise of bubbling river just outside was a pleasant distraction from the need for tv!!

  Location and view were unbelievable! All staff were very helpful and friendly. Warnings of bear activity all over the lodge were appreciated. Food in the hotel's Aspenglow Restaurant was incredibly good, and a value, considering this is the interior of Alaska. Also, by Alaska standards, the room rate was a bargain.
