The location was right where you would want to be to visit all of
Washington DC's monuments/museums, etc. We were able to walk to
everything between the Capitol and the Lincoln Monument.

I liked the ambiance of the entire experience. Everything was very
convenient and in the midst of many attractions right in the area! I
enjoyed a very relaxing two days. The staff was very accommodating and
made sure my requests were taken care of. I appreciated the manner in
which I was treated.

If you are looking for luxurious, high class, this is not the place
for you. However, this hotel is the perfect place to stay in dc. It
has nice, basic rooms, very clean and provides all that is required.
Most importantly, it is in a great location, being very close to all
the popular tourist destinations. There is a fun bar in the lobby, and
the cafe provides a decent, well priced breakfast. I thoroughly
recommend this one.

My room was much bigger than I expected. The staff was friendly and
helpful. It's great that the hotel shampoo, conditioner & lotion
was actually from Bath & Body Works, so I didn't have to use the

The location was perfect. There was a subway station nearby and also taxis and buses readily available, so getting around was easy.
I happened to visit during the unfortunate government shutdown, so there was a lot that I wanted to see but couldn't. The staff was very friendly and quick to offer suggestions on what to do and see, and what was open. The housekeeping staff were amazing, cleaning my room promptly each day.

everything we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant/brewery
downstairs was delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was tasty and
convenient. I would stay again in the future and highly recommend the

good restaurants, 1/4 mile from the White House. We are recommending

The one bedroom suite we had was well appointed, appealing and
comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was wonderfully
close to the attractions we wanted to see. The rooftop courtyard was a
nice bonus - we could see a number of recognizable memorials /
attractions from it. The parking took a couple fo turns around the block
before I identified it, but the parking staff were excellent. Also, the
parking price was one of the best for the accomodations I considered.

The staff were courteous and helpful. Liked the Starbucks down on the ground floor. Loved the fact it was above Metro Center and around the corner from the White House, Spy Museum, Crime Museum and some high street brands plus Macy's across the street. Also within walking distance to Chinatown and restaurants. Very central and accessible because of subway below.
Good breakfast. appreciated the fact it had free laundry room use - very important as we were on the road for a month.

Everything!!! The hotel had a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, great value for money (compared to the other hotels we used on our 5 week holiday in the US) and the room was well set-out, clean and very comfortable. Great location! Very well insulated room, very quiet and clean. Very good bed. Upon arrival we asked the young lady at the desk for a nice bistro around, and she referred us to a very special place close to the hotel where we really enjoyed organic food and the most pleasant ambiance for a couple of meals. She took the time with the nicest smile.
