nights. Each room has a balcony. We were moved to an ocean -front room
since we were staying for a week which was very generous. The location
is probably the best in Santa Monica. Last year we stayed at the Loews

Fantastic location right opposite famous Santa Monica pier and behind
Bloomingdales and shopping on 3rd Promenade. Rooms were modern and
bathroom has clear glass wall to see into bedroom, which was a novelty
for my 7yo daughter. Free internet/wifi was fantastic. Was given
glass of champagne at check in which was a nice surprise. My daughter
loved the heated pool.

Excellent location - walking distance to shops, restaurants and farmers market at nearby Third Street Promenade, as well as the Santa Monice Pier amusement park and beach boardwalk (with bike rentals nearby). Very welcoming, and active, with a great design and great access to the beach. Rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is in a walking distance to the most popular locations. The concierge are knowledgeable and can help you a lot to find what you need. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The connoisseur was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The

The location was outstanding: right across from the beach. The pool had a wonderful set up with cabannas and two smaller pools which made it more intimate. The décor was modern and fun. The staff was very accommodating and knew us by name. I even got a text on my cell phone asking if we needed any help. There wasn't a wait for valet to bring the car up.

Staying at shangri la is probably the best so far. The necessities are well handled and customer service is just brilliant. Like any other shangri la around the world, this branch also offers the same quality. Obviously there are many variations on the layout, service and sizes. But that didn't bother us. None to complain so far. -

Also, i used the parking space for shangrila. The service there is brilliant. Althought its a bit expensive than normal parking rates, it keeps your car safe.

The staff was amazing! There was not a single person we dealt with that
was not friendly, knowledgable and quick to assist. Everyone went above

Convenient to eateries and shops on foot, as well as to the beach. Never took my car out of the garage.

the walls- they're exactly the light cream color that they should
be, given the Spanish/Moorish architecture and orange tiled floor.
