This hotel is perfect: being a few blocks from the city's downtown means you don't get the "undesirable" local residents outside the door. However, being on the city's main bus line, catching a bus is quick, easy, even exciting.

Convenient location out of the busy downtown area. Parking was a plus! Clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Loved the coffee and danish in the morning and Ella's restaurant at the corner. Room was comfy and the kitchenette was nice to have available.

The staff were really good and helpful. It felt secure with gated coded card access. It's not a 5 star hotel. It has dated decor has all the basics including free wifi. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and all, especially the concierge Ray, went out of their way to help. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated the insider tips on using a Munipass or finding a good place to eat.

It was also great value for money. -
The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The cookies were a huge hit with the children and the access to hot tea ( something not so common in USA) was wonderful! The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.

The staff was wonderful. The parking was ok. tight spaces. Our car got a good size scratch from the car that parked next to us. Since is it on Lombard street we were happy that they had onsite parking, instead of having to park on the busy street. Continental breakfast was ok. -
