  The staff at the Claremont was awesome and so helpful. They made my mother and I feel excited about vegas. Check in was super fast and they gave you the receipt right away. Bonus they didn't even charge for the deposit! !! The young lady and young gentleman were friendly. The hotel is clean, quiet and budget friendly. The hotel is close to downtown Las Vegas and there is a good shuttle bus to the Strip, the bus to the airport stops at the corner of the street.   From the moment I walked in to the reception the staff just smiled and was super-friendly. Got help when i neede to make phonecalls and I was able to do a very late check-out. Rooms were clean, pillows very comfortable and size of room was good. I liked my stay and can def recommend this.   The price was excellent for two adults staying two nights in Las Vegas!! We spent most of our time at the Mandalay Bay Resort where most of my family was gathered for my neice's wedding. Staying at Howard Johnson's allowed us to stay within our budget, and to be a 5 minute drive from the hotel where all of our events were.
