The staff was very friendly, the pictures of the hotel is real: "What you see is what you get" -
The beds are comfortable, rooms has a good size for a hotel in Manhattan - Clean and nice!
The bar is open til 02.00 and has a smoking area.
There is free coffe in the lobby in the mornings, and fresh water and ice tea doing the day.

The staff were brilliant. On check in we discovered another persons luggage in our room. They promptly removed that and then put us in another room....along with 3 free breakfasts, cocktails, beer and food! Gave us a late check out at no extra cost and the bar staff are very friendly. A great, clean comfortable room and not far from the sights or subway. I would stay again.

staff - friendly and very helpful, changed our room the following day we asked for it, rooms - very nicely arranged and clean, cool metro-style bathrooms, lavender aroma and pretty good complimentary coffee. very good location, just next to Highline, quiet during the night, comfortable mattress and good size bed (King) in our first room. The staff, location and excellent value. The rooms are small but very nicely equipped. 22nd street is more quiet than most, so the street noise was very low for NY. Neighborhood is full of restaurants and shops, subway is a short block away, and there is a Citibike stand right outside the front door.

the hotel was ideally located. All staff were very helpful and friendly, and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER, beware of booking a high-floor room thinking this will give you a view. I booked two high-floor rooms. One had a lovely view over the skyline, while the other had a view of a brick wall! The hotel very kindly moved us up three floors, wher we got a view of........water tanks. So view not guaranteed! Supplement would be better reserved for those rooms with views. However, that did no

The location was perfect for what we were there for. It was so easy to get anywhere from our hotel location. It was right next to the subway station, making it simple to go uptown to downtown and anywhere in between. The staff was very helpful and friendly! We also loved the atmosphere!! The live band downstairs was great (besides the fact that we could hear it in our room the first night).

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). The rooms were very large for NYC with a nice view of the Empire State Bldg. What I liked the most was how clean and modern the hotel was. Our room and bathroom were immaculate. The rooftop deck provided nice views of the city as well. Breakfast was also a nice feature. Eggs, sausage, fruit, etc. Great value for the money. I really can't say enough good things about the Nomad. We absolutely loved our stay there - the staff is wonderful, everyone wants to help you any way that they can. The rooms are beautiful, and the bath products will make it so you never want to use anything else to wash your body. We could only book at the Nomad for a few days and had to stay the rest of our time at the Soho Grand. We REALLY wanted to go back to the Nomad. If we can afford it, we'll definitely be back!
