  Our stay at The Drake was wonderful! We booked a deluxe room with a view and were able to check in early. Our room was very spacious with 2 huge windows looking onto the lake and Oak Street Beach. The hotel even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room for our anniversary!   Beautiful older Hotel renovated in the last few years, We were there for our Anniversary and got a really nice room with a great view of the lake on the 26th floor. Room was nice and big. I never heard any other guests. Right across the street from John Hancock building. Elegant. I liked how I could close the doors to the bedroom and watch tv in the living area. I had a late plane flight and they let me stay until 3p check out for no charge. Concierge was awesome.

  This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The building itself is really impressive, the room (as well as the bathroom!) was spacious with pleasant furnishing, the staff was really friendly and helpful. You can find a red line station nearby. - Good things about the room: clean, great shower apart from the bath, the beds, no noise. Good things about the hotel: at night great lighteffects, good bar, nice personnel, luxury looks. Good things about neighbourhood of the hotel: lots of restaurants(also for breakfast) and bars around, in the middle of the most important shopping area, lots of interesting things to see and to do (for exemple boattour, musea) on a walking distance.
