Front desk staff (Chris) very courteous and helpful. Sure, the buildings
are aging, but the property is massive, green and well looked after with
plenty of trees and palms. They have 24 hr. Security walking the
property. I always stay at Marriott properties and was not disappointed

The staff is amazing! So helpful! I needed to stay an extra night and right away the front desk was able to move some things arownd so that I didn't have to move my 3 young children around and we were able to stay in the same room. They also got me a crib for the baby. I asked for it at the front desk at check in and by the time I made it to the room they were putting it in there! For the price the place was great, but the staff is like a 4 diamond resort! You guys were the best! Thank you for

Outstanding location - Hotel Circle - allowed for easy commute to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Airport, and more. We were able to go to the sites, then come back to the room for lunch and swimming and return to the sites for the evening - a great way to break things up for the kids.

I was pleasantly suprised by our stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, and had been recently renovated. The staff was friendly andf helpful. It was definately a value for the price. I would recommend other people to stay at this hotel and I would absolutely stay there again.

Phenomenally good value for money. Just book it. The room was well and
tastefully appointed and fitted with tv, cafetiere and fridge as well as
table and chairs. A good cafe was on site serving simple but very
palatable fare. There were also gym and pool facilities which I did not
use. The location was very practical with only short drives to Sea
World, Midway Museum, Old Town, Zoo etc (in fact there were shuttles
available for a couple of these destinations). I felt very relaxed there

I stayed here very recently for six nights while attending a conference downtown. Let me say it was totally worth the extra effort and cost in cabs to get downtown ( half hour by bus, 15 minutes 13 bucks by cab). The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, from the cleaning staff, valet parking attendants, front desk folks and management. I get the feeling people love their jobs and want to deliver good service to the guests. The bar downstairs is awesome and deserves its own review. On

The size of this resort hotel was much larger than I expected with a lot of nice amenities (restaurants, etc.) on grounds that we did not use (but would in the future). It was a very nice hotel. And so beautiful! We lived in a room with to large queen size. It was very spacious and a bit old fashioned. But in a good way. It was close to a big mall, which we really approved. We didn't have breakfast included, but there is a nice café in the area (the hotel is in a very big area and has a lot of rooms all over the place) that had good sandwiches and Starbuck coffee.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego
recently from March 11 to 14. The facilities were excellent. Our bedroom
was nice and the bed was comfortable, and coffee making was provided.

Location was excellent!. Room was clean. We opted not to get room clean on second day stay and got $5 coupon to use at one of their restaurants. Service was great. We requested clean towels on second day and were brought up quickly. If you need something for room, just call and ask. Friendly staff. Got $5 coupons for each member (5) towards San Diego zoo. Could get noisy due to it being family friendly but that is expected. Close to restaurants.

For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.
Easy to get to gaslight quarter on the trolley system.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. Our return for a second vacation in SD this year was because we have found this central, traditional-style, good-value hotel in the Old Town.
