Location cannot be beaten, for access to Fisherman's Wharf (one entrance is right on the wharf), with the tram stop right across from this entrance, car hire a few metres down the road, and the cable car a block away. Staff were helpful, and very reasonable when I needed assistance with arranging a pre-paid reservation. The hotel is clean. Beds ar

The rooms were quiet and the beds were comfortable-- slept great! Very convenient to wharf and other attractions. Thomas in reception was so helpful on the phone when we were on the way in traffic and trying to find out fastest way to get to hotel and on to pier 33 for our Alcatraz night tour. They also helped us book an airport shuttle for one person in our party.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf was great. We had a clean, tidy room that was serviced daily. We were a block walk away from where our hop on hop off bus departed from. Location was great! Just 5min walk to Pier 39.
A lot safer area to stay than where people from our tour were staying (Union Square area) as there were very few

The location is perfect for those who want to explore San Fran on foot.
Chinatown, Little Italy, Lombard St, Fisherman's Wharf, Ghirardelli
Square, and the Marina are all within a 10-15 minute walking distance.
Take bus 49 from outside the hotel and you can take a quick ride
($2/day pass) to go visit the Painted Ladies or Japan Town. There is
great food nearby and tours that go to the bridge and beyond. The hotel
itself is very clean, with nice staff and great pricing for this area.

Hôtel particulièrement bien situé dans un quartier agréable et à proximité des centres d'intérêts de SF.( Culturels, transports, restaurants, shopping...) - La dégustation de vin de 17h à 18h gratuit et à volonté! Superemplacement. Tres bon rapport qualité prix

The Room was great. Very Clean. Hotel front desk woman with an accent
wasn't warm, but helpful. The guy who worked the front desk on
Saturday night was awesome. The art going up the staircase looked like a
mess. I know art, this was design student style. Sorry. Just saying.
Looked like elements were peeled off. Cool... If it was a cohesive
piece.

The restaurant dinner we had was
fabulous, very high quality menu.
The foyer was well designed but not that welcoming for comfort.We liked the state of the art room key system.
Free cocktails were great and the knowledgeable wine waiter and great waiter Ryan.
General ambience,decor and atmosphere was good especially cocktail bar and live music.
Considering it was a city hotel with obviously limited space we really enjoyed our stay there.

The person who helped me get my bags and stored them after we checked out. The person who called the town car and greeted us when we arrived the first day,I think his name is Tommy?? The bartender(woman with dark hair) was also very kind while my exhausted teen daughter slept by the fire.

The room. It has such a character. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the barwith live music as well. The hotel was very clean which was a big plus. - It was in close proximity to everything fun about San Francisco.

Friendly and efficient staff, quick check-in (and a couple of hours earlier than scheduled time), nice breakfast, quiet and comfortable room, nice toiletery products in the bathroom, great proximity to Union Square and public transport, great value for money. I would stay at this hotel again and will certainly highly recommend it to my family and

The hotel has a lovely feel to it - pleasant staff on arrival; comfortable rooms; well positioned for an easy stroll into town and access to all amenities. A free daily happy hour from 4pm to 6pm was a very welcome unexpected bonus. As the name of the hotel might suggest there are strong links to the military and as a visitor from the UK it was pleasing to see the level of respect that is shown.

I'm not sure why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. My
girlfriend and I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The
staff was friendly, the location was great, room was clean and updated.
We stayed in room 404, which I highly recommend. There was a private
full balcony off the room that provided a complete unobstructed view of

Terrific suite with fantastic view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Welcoming
and helpful staff. Convenient parking, although daily charge of $25 plus
tax seemed a little high. Good continental breakfast, with fresh fruit,
pastries, and bagels, bread, preserves etc. Great location for walking
to Fishermans Wharf etc, or the great value bus into the city.

The hotel is still going through some renovations, but the room was excellent, comfy and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location is only 1/2 a block from Powell and the cable car line. I would definately stay here again. - The proximity to shopping, restaurants, transportation and thefriendliness of the staff.
